COMPACT DESIGN
The BOSS Bullet is a fully self-contained, gas engine driven rotary screw air compressor capable of producing 70 cfm at 100 psi continuously (85 cfm at 90 psi) with plenty of reserve (more than enough to power a 90 lb. breaker!).
Its unique design features allow you to utilize the Bullet just about anywhere.
As a skidmount: Because it measures just 32"W x 42"L x 35"H and weighs under 500 lbs., the Bullet will sit on any class truck and not affect load capacity or impair visibility. The Bullet is narrow enough to fit into standard industrial gates and doorways as well as service elevators for high rise or underground construction.
As a trailer mount: Again, because it's compact and lightweight, the Bullet can be towed by virtually any vehicle. The Bullet's low profile allows for clear visibility making it safer and easier to tow. The trailer is rated for highway speeds and includes a retractable jack stand, 2" ball hitch, safety chains and stop, tail and turn lights as standard.
ROTARY SCREW DEPENDABILITY
At the heart of the BOSS Bullet compressor is the BOSS rotary screw air-end. Rotary screw compression is ideal for this application because it provides constant air flow and pressure continuously regardless of the amount of time it takes to get the job done. No waiting for the system to "catch-up." No need for air storage tanks. Two asymmetrical lobe profile rotors, turning at conservative speeds in a bath of lubricant are the only major moving parts. Because there is no contact, rotors seal on a lubricated pitch line; wear is virtually eliminated.
BOSS air-ends are warranted for three years against defects in materials and workmanship and loss of capacity due to wear.
THE POWER SOURCE
The BOSS Bullet features the Kohler Command 25 HP OHV V-Twin gasoline engine. Nickel silicon plated cylinders, specially designed oil cooler, overhead valve design and electronic spark ignition are just some of the features that make this engine the most fuel efficient, quiet running and maintenance free in its class.
